2012-The best year of my life :)

Seeing as though I haven’t been on here lately I thought that I’d sum up what happened this past weekend!

- David and I booked and paid for our trip to Melbourne! In just under 3 weeks I’ll be living it up in our 5 star hotel & drinking expensive wine :P. It’s for our 3 day late Valentines day and our week early 1 year anniversary :). 

- I took poor Emmett to the car doctor! He had a sore accelerator.. But when he was all better I spoilt him with 2 new tyres :3

- I attended the gym last night and as you can imagine I’m feeling pretty sore this morning >.<

Anyway.. It’s time for work!

No idea…

…How some people can be so immature :S. It really confuses me.. Maybe it’s the fact that I was forced to be mature at such a young age and I totally missed out on immaturity but still that’s just taking it too far.

Anyway, after getting that out, David and I are going to see the Harry Potter expo tomorrow :). I’m really quite excited because the last time we were at the museum they were setting it up and it looked pretty amazing!

I also don’t think I’ve ever been this excited for Australia Day either, haha. It’s not the ‘Aussie Pride’ it’s the fact that I get a nice resting day through the week. I love my job and all but working 8:30 - 5:00 everyday really takes it’s toll on me >.<.

Annnyway, I guess it’s time to go wake David up and make him his morning coffee :3 ♥

2012 - A New Year

This year has started off amazingly! This year will definitely be the best of my life.

My job is still going great, David and I are still going strong and everything seems to be coming together :).

Last week I went and bought a Playstation3 and a Samsung LED, 3D, Smart TV. It’s fancy :3.

2.5 days ago I went on a cruise.. It was pretty fun and (even if I didn’t like the food) the cake was good!

The weekend before I go to Soundwave (to see Marilyn Manson, Wednesday 13, Trivium and about 500 more great bands) I’ll be going to Melbourne to celebrate David and I’s 1 year anniversary :3 even if it is 2 days AFTER Soundwave :P.

So yeah.. Happy with lifeeee :D

2012 Resolutions

1. Sign up to a gym

2. Make at least one good friend

3. Get Emmett some new shoes

4. Buy new furniture/gadgets and get ready to move out 

5. Build up self confidence and esteem

6. Get a hobby

I just need to vent

Yesterday, mother bought a whole new lounge and dining set. Sounds great but now I’m not allowed to sleep on it. David sleeps in my bed of a night and I’m happy about that and I won’t let him move. BUT now I have nowhere to sleep. 
..I put a mattress down on the floor of my room, practically on the other side of the room, and slept there. I get up to get ready for work and all of a sudden I’m barreled up in the bathroom by mother getting screamed at because I’m disrespecting her in her own house. I DON’T UNDERSTAND! I respected her wishes about not sleeping in the same bed.. I put a mattress on the other side of the room! And yet.. I still manage to disrespect her.

So much for the few hundred dollars I was prepared to spend on her for Christmas.. At this rate she’d probably take the bloody thing back and tell me I was disrespecting her by buying it. 

So since my baby’s been gone I’ve been trying to keep myself busy..

Other than working 5 days a week.. There isn’t too much to do.. So I downloaded Season 3 of Bones. That gives me a fair amount of stuff to do when I’m desperate for something to do.

Yesterday I went out shopping.. Bought myself a new phone :). Spent $600 in one blow! Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S. Sounds fancy, huh? It’s SO skinny :P and has 500x better stuff than an iPhone :3. Pretty stoked about that.

I also bought bub’s christmas/birthday presents. Oh man.. He’s going to explode :P.

I’ve got an appointment with my financial adviser on Tuesday.. Means by Friday I should be able to start looking for a car :3.

I booked a hair appointment for the 10th as well.. Super keen for that.. It’s going to be such a change >.<.

Next thing I need to save for is some new glasses. I’ve got my heart set on a beautiful pair by Gok Wan <3. That man is a genius! 

I hope my baby’s having a wonderful time.. But gosh I miss him :3

Lalalala, content.

Great news..

..Was thrust upon me today! :3. That’s what you get when your best friends at work are the boss and his wife :P. I was meant to start my 2 days a week in the workshop next week but I just found out that I’ll be working 5. 3 in the office and 2 in the workshop.. I’m so happy!

I have an appointment booked with my financial adviser on the 29th too. How fancy does that sound ;D.

I don’t think I want to spend too much more than $10,000 on a car though.. Seeing as though it’ll only be my first I’ll probably crash it or something silly and I just don’t want to spend lots of money to fix it :P. 

Phone is the next on my list.. I think I’d really like a new Motorola RAZR. Seeing as though I got my last ‘flip top’ RAZR when it came out like 9 years ago it’d be fitting to get the newest one now :P.

Then the tv is the biggest thing on my list.. There’s this tv I have been looking at for months.. It’s about $3,000.. But it’s AMAZING :3

All while this is going on I’ll be saving for Melbourne!
